I was chatting last night with a phine phellow phile and we were talking
about how some of these folks on this here NG have become staples in our
lives, even though we have not met many of them( the phile phfriend has
met many...whereas I have just met a few) And I started thinking about how
Alan Hurshman has always just kinda been there, on my computer screen
,consistently for quite some time, and how I always appreciate his humor
and enjoy his posts even though I have never met the guy and haven't even
a clue as to what he looks like. So, as a long time denizen of ATXF, for
better and for worse, I have decreed this day as AHAD-" Alan Hurshman
Appreciation Day". And I plan to spend this day doing housework and
thinking about painting my bathroom, talking to two teachers, making an
orthodontist appointment, AND appreciating Alan Hurshman.

Good morning, Alan, it is nice to see you on my screen again. As always.
